In Memoriam of Anna Rovira
 Â
It is with great sadness that we share that our friend, colleague, and fellow patient advocate, Anna Rovira, passed away during the night of the 26 January 2021 after a short but very intense battle against cancer.
With her passing, Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) lost a dear friend, who was also a valued staff member until 2018, and contributed significantly to the growth of our organisation. Anna was involved in key MPE projects and programmes such as the Annual General Meeting and the Reasonable Legal Agreements between Patient Advocates and Pharmaceutical Companies (RAPP), among others. She gave the best of herself to each of her projects in order to benefit the patient community. Anna was also a joy to work with, keeping up the team spirit with great humour when work was intense and tough.
We will forever be grateful for Anna’s friendship and commitment to MPE and the patient community. Her work in advocacy, as well as her personal courage and determination against her own cancer, inspires us to never stop working to improve the lives and outcomes for patients. She will always be part of MPE.
We will miss her very much. We wish her family and closest friends all the strength they need in these difficult times.
