Diane is a carer of a myeloma patient, her husband, and a volunteer in the AMM-Online organisation. She was vice president at Myelom Deutschland in 2020 and, along with her husband, led the myeloma support group for patients and caregivers in Hamburg. Diane is a trained nurse with special training in psychiatry and palliative care. She is also an educator for early childhood. One of Diane’s interests is working to address the needs of younger patients and improving palliative care as part of myeloma treatment. Diane completed the MPE Advocate Development Programme (ADP) in 2019.
