Since opening registration for the MPE 10th Anniversary and Masterclass 2021, our Board has continued to monitor the pandemic across our member nations very closely. Whilst we were very hopeful that at this point there would be substantial improvements and a clear timeline for vaccine rollouts across Europe, that is unfortunately not the case. Considering the significant uncertainly that we continue to face, the MPE Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the planned in-person MPE 10th Anniversary and Masterclass 2021 and move to a virtual format.
This was not a decision made lightly, but as the situation across Europe remains very serious, we must put the health and safety of our patients, carers, and community members first.
Work is underway to transition to a virtual event. Please continue to save the date for July 2 and 3, 2021 for MPE’s virtual Masterclass 2021.
We look forward to learning together from preeminent myeloma and AL amyloidosis experts, discussing the latest in treatment, care, and diagnosis, and better understanding the current access landscape in Europe. Details regarding registration and the programme will be shared soon.
